About Me
My name is Laura Geyer and I am excited to be teaching your child this year! I am from Lake Oswego, Oregon. I moved to Idaho about 6 years ago and I am loving it here. The different seasons are my favorite part about Idaho! I graduated from Boise State University with an Elementary Education degree. I know this year will be a fun and exciting year!
Technology can be an excellent tool in the classroom. I find it to be an interesting and challenging way to learn. In our classroom we will use technology by using the computer to play games, learn phonics and have fun! We will also use the interenet to do research for upcoming projects in the classroom. I have also created a google site for our class. There, you will find upcoming activities, homework assignments and fun facts about our classroom. In the past I have found that this site has been very beneficial to students and parents. Parents can email me at anytime using this site and I will be able to post answers to any questions or concerns you may have!
Technology is growing so fast and kids are really responding to having to use technology in their classrooms. It makes students grow and think in ways that they may not have done before. I hope that through the technology that we use in our classroom this year will be helpful for every student!
